Early Demo Recording
Sunday, December 2, 2007

AUGUST entered the recording studio to make their first demo CD.
The 7 tracks were recorded "live", meaning that, with the exception of vocals,
all music was played similar to a live performance,
with no overdubbing or layering of instruments to enhance the sound of the band.
This recording IS the band "live", no tricks.
The 7 songs included in this session were:

Do You Like the Sound of the Music - Wayne Cochran & the C.C. Ryders
Go Down Gamblin' - Blood, Sweat & Tears
Soul Man - Blues Brothers / Sam & Dave
Unchain My Heart - Joe Cocker
Free - Chicago
Only So Much Oil (In the Ground) - Tower of Power
Lucretia McEvil - Blood, Sweat & Tears

After the vocals were laid down, the band mixed the CD with engineer, Bill Beith,
and made arrangements for the duplication of the recording.
These will then be distributed to clubs and cities in the area for summer music festivals.
In addition, some discs will be handed out at select live performances
after the beginning of the new year, 2008.

The following photos were taken during the recording session.
